Cardly - Privacy Policy

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Woohoo Software ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Cardly mobile application ("App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use our App.

1. Your Data

Your card data — including card names, barcodes, card numbers, PINs, gift-card balances, and any card photos you add — is private. Only you can see it: we do not have access to, collect, or store your card data.

No user accounts are required to use the App. We do not collect your name, email address, or any other personally identifiable information.

2. Google Drive Backup

The App offers an optional backup feature using Google Drive. If you choose to use this feature:

3. Biometric Authentication

The App offers an optional biometric lock feature (fingerprint, face recognition, or device PIN/pattern). Biometric data is handled entirely by your device's operating system — we do not collect, store, or have access to your biometric data.

4. Purchase Data

Premium is a one-time in-app purchase managed by Google Play. We verify your purchase status using anonymous identifiers provided by Google Play — we do not have access to your payment details.

5. Advertising and Tracking

Cardly does not use any third-party advertising network. The free version of the App shows a single built-in card in your Favourites promoting other Woohoo Software apps. That card is served by the App itself — no advertising network is involved, no device identifiers are collected for it, and no information about you is shared with anyone. Premium removes it.

We do not track your shopping. Cardly has no connection to the shops whose cards you store, so what you buy, where you buy it, and what you spend are not visible to us. We do not build a profile of you or your activity, and we do not use third-party tracking tools.

6. Data Security

Your data is protected by your device's built-in security measures, including the optional biometric lock. Data transferred to Google Drive is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

8. Your Control Over Your Data

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
