Quick start
Tap Add card in your wallet. Choose the card type, then either scan the barcode using the scan button in the Card Number field, or type the number in by hand. Give the card a name, and save.

Going deeper
Card type
The chips at the top — Rewards, Gift, Member, Other — decide how the card behaves and which group it lands in. Gift cards gain a PIN and a balance; the others stay focused on the barcode. You can add your own types too.
Cards with no barcode
Some membership cards are just a number. Turn on No barcode — show the number and Cardly displays the number in large type instead of drawing a barcode, which is exactly what the cashier needs to key in.
Name and colour
The name is what you will see in your wallet, so use whatever you actually call the shop. Background Colour sets the tile colour — pick from your palette, which you can edit in Settings.
The Options tab
The Options tab alongside Details holds the extras for the card, such as the shop it belongs to and, for gift cards, the PIN and balance. You can leave it alone when adding a card and fill it in later by editing the card.
Starring as you go
The star in the top corner marks the card as a favourite as you save it, so it goes straight to the top of your wallet.
Schnellstart
Tippen Sie in Ihrer Brieftasche auf Karte hinzufügen. Wählen Sie den Kartentyp und scannen Sie dann den Barcode über die Scan-Schaltfläche im Feld „Kartennummer" — oder tippen Sie die Nummer von Hand ein. Geben Sie der Karte einen Namen und speichern Sie.
Kartentyp, Nummer (mit Scan-Schaltfläche), Name und Hintergrundfarbe.
Damit sind die meisten Karten abgedeckt. Weiter geht es mit Karten ohne Barcode, Farben und dem Tab „Optionen".

Kartentyp
Die Chips oben — Rewards, Gift, Member, Other — bestimmen, wie sich die Karte verhält und in welcher Gruppe sie landet. Geschenkkarten erhalten zusätzlich PIN und Guthaben; die anderen bleiben auf den Barcode beschränkt. Eigene Typen können Sie ebenfalls anlegen.
Karten ohne Barcode
Manche Mitgliedskarten bestehen nur aus einer Nummer. Aktivieren Sie Kein Barcode — Nummer anzeigen, und Cardly zeigt die Nummer groß an, statt einen Barcode zu zeichnen — genau das, was das Personal eintippen muss.
Name und Farbe
Der Name erscheint in Ihrer Brieftasche — nehmen Sie den, unter dem Sie das Geschäft tatsächlich kennen. Hintergrundfarbe legt die Kachelfarbe fest; die Palette lässt sich in den Einstellungen bearbeiten.
Der Tab „Optionen"
Der Tab Optionen neben „Details" enthält die Zusatzangaben zur Karte, etwa das zugehörige Geschäft und – bei Geschenkkarten – PIN und Guthaben. Sie können ihn beim Anlegen überspringen und später beim Bearbeiten ausfüllen.
Gleich als Favorit markieren
Mit dem Stern oben in der Ecke markieren Sie die Karte schon beim Speichern als Favorit, sodass sie direkt oben in Ihrer Brieftasche erscheint.
