Settings

Biometric lock, what a tap does, light or dark theme, your card types, your colour palette, and the currency symbol.

Quick start

Settings is behind the gear icon in the top corner of your wallet. Most people set the theme once and never come back.

Going deeper

Security

Biometric Lock requires your fingerprint, face, or screen lock before Cardly will open. Worth turning on — your card numbers, PINs and balances are not something you want open to anyone who picks up your phone.

Behaviour

Open Scan Mode on tap decides what a tap in your wallet does. On, and you go straight to the full-screen barcode — fastest at the checkout. Off, and you get the card screen instead, which is easier while you are setting cards up.

Customise

  • Theme — System, Light, or Dark. System follows your phone.
  • Card Types — rename, reorder, or add your own types.
  • Colours — add, reorder, or delete the palette you pick card colours from.
  • Currency Symbol — shown before every gift card balance.
